Happ shows an Xray core error

An Xray core error in Happ usually means the app failed to start its local engine: an old profile, broken geo data, routing conflict or a link added in the wrong section. For WersidePN, remove old profiles and import the regular subscription URL again.

    What we issue now

The WersidePN subscription URL contains two Hysteria 2 profiles: primary Germany and fallback Latvia.

    Recommended app

For iPhone and Android we currently recommend Happ. V2RayTun remains in older guides as a legacy option only.

    If something fails

Refresh the subscription in the app first, then test the second profile and another network.

    What it can mean

an old profile or third-party JSON config remains in Happ

local geosite.dat/geoip.dat data is outdated or broken

the app tries to apply routing rules unsupported by the current build

the subscription link was added as a manual profile instead of a subscription

    What to do

    1

Tap update in the error window if Happ offers to update data.

    2

Remove old or third-party profiles, especially manual JSON/VLESS profiles.

    3

Copy the WersidePN subscription URL again and add it as a subscription.

    4

After refresh, choose WersidePN Germany or WersidePN Latvia and connect again.

    What to know about Happ

    Use the subscription URL

In Happ, V2RayTun, v2rayN and similar clients, a subscription URL is safer than manual profile assembly. The app receives the current server, expiry and connection parameters.

    Refresh the profile on errors

If the client shows timeout, TLS errors or an old server, refresh the subscription inside the app first. It is safer than copying random parameters from different guides.

    Keep one clear profile

When the app has many old configurations, it may choose the wrong server. Keep the current WersidePN profile, refresh it and connect after the server list loads.

    Quick checklist before connecting

Check that Happ imports the subscription URL, not a separate fragment of the key.

After adding the profile, refresh it inside the app and wait until the WersidePN server appears.

If the app shows an old server, remove only the old WersidePN profile and add the current link again.

Do not run several VPN clients at the same time: they can conflict on DNS, routes and system VPN profiles.

If the error appears on mobile data, test the same subscription over Wi-Fi or another operator.

For payment and renewal, use the same account where the subscription URL was issued.

    Useful next steps

    Common questions

Does this mean the WersidePN server is down?

Not necessarily. This error often happens before the server connection: Happ fails to start the local Xray engine or profile.

Do I need to buy a new subscription?

No. Reimport the current subscription URL first. Your WersidePN term and link remain the same.

    Why remove old profiles?

Third-party VLESS/JSON profiles can include routing rules or geo dependencies that break Happ startup.
