VPN on the router covers every device at home at once — TVs, consoles, gadgets without their own clients
you need a router that supports the protocol or custom firmware (OpenWrt, Keenetic, etc.)
it counts as one device in the subscription, but traffic comes from the whole network
for games and calls remember that the whole home will use one route
